Jeff Madsen is one of the most competent poker players casino online in the world and a multiple WSOP gold bracelet winner. Each time he sits down at the tables during this flagship competition, the others are correctly assuming that he is the favorite to prevail.
He left his mark once again nine years after winning his first two bracelets at the World Series of poker and added a fourth bracelet to his impressive collection.
This time, he chose to participate in the Event #31: $3,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo which brought together a total of 480 runners. This resulted in a prize pool that exceeding the expected amount while large margin and the winner was expected to collect more than $300,000. The cash prize is obviously important for Madsen, but it comes second to the coveted bracelet which is by far the most important thing for him.
It wasn’t easy to prevail at these tables and the final table in particular was very challenging as it included a plethora of poker professionals. John O’Shea and David Baker seem to be the most dangerous opponents, but both of them bowed out graciously in the eighth and sixth place. This left Jeff to compete with ambitious players who are yet to win a bracelet that the World Series of Poker and all of them had slightly more chips in front of them.
In the end, this didn’t make a difference because Madsen played his hands aggressively and correctly, clawing his way to the top. This win came at the perfect time because the last eight months were some of the worst in his career and he needed victory to restore his confidence.
Now that he won the bracelet and a six digit amount, he can look forward to the next events in the WSOP and fortunately he will have another shot at a bracelet.
